Although the lake is known for kite- and windsurfing, the northern part lends itself perfectly for mountain biking. As a spout of the Dolomites, this area offers enough trails for a multi-day stay. For years the last weekend in april is marked red in our agenda. It’s the date for the bikefestival Riva, the unofficial kick-off of the mountainbike season in Europe. As we mentioned in other posts, Lake garda is well known for its mountainbike spots. Some say that it’s maybe the best spot in Europe. No wonder the bikefestival takes place ervery year at this spot.
