BEWICKED TERMS & CONDITIONS
The contract is between you “the client” and BeWicked. The contract exists when we receive your booking form by mail or e-mail and we have received your deposit. By submitting the contract, you agree to follow the terms and conditions stated in this contract.
Deposit payment
Payment of the deposit of € 100,- per person is to be paid into our account within 10 days to make the contract valid.
Payment of balance
Payment of the final balance must reach us 4 weeks prior to the start of your mountain bike holiday, or 1 week prior to the start of your training plan provided by us. Failure to pay this amount may lead to cancellation charges and the deposit will be forfeited.
Changes to bookings
Any changes to bookings made to the original details supplied on your contract will be accommodated if possible. If we are unable to accommodate your changes we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled.
Cancellation fees
Notice of cancellation needs to be done in writing by the person recognized as the group leader for the booking. Cancellation charges will apply as detailed below.
- More than 6 weeks: Deposit
- Between 6-4 weeks: 60 % of total holiday cost
- Between 4-2 weeks: 80 % of total holiday cost
- Less than 2 weeks: 100% of total holiday cost
In the unlikely event that BeWicked would need to cancel your mountain bike holiday, you will receive a full refund of all money paid to us.
Accomodation
You will have to take care of your accommodation yourself. We can provide you information about campings or hotels. In case accommodation is included this will be noticed on the website.
Transport
All clients have to take care of their own transport to the locations. Transport which is included will be noticed on the website.
Clients Responsibility
All clients ride entirely at their own risk and must make their own judgements on their abilities. BeWicked and their employees / mountain bike guides can not be held responsible for any injuries sustained during any sport activity whilst on (mountain bike) holiday. All BeWicked clients must have Insurance cover for their stay and all sport activities. Please note that mountain biking is a high risk sport.
Insurance
Mountain biking does involve an element of risk like any activity sports. BeWicked does not accept any liability for accidents that happen during your holiday or other company organised events. Clients are required to insure themselves for third party liability and to arrange a policy that provides for personal, medical and rescue insurance that includes Mountain Biking. BeWicked does not insure its clients.
Shuttle service and local transport
Shuttle service are offered as a service. Clients travel in BeWicked or one of it’s partners vehicles entirely at their own risk.
Force majeure
In the event BeWicked has to cancel or change your travel arrangements because of industrial dispute, terrorist activity, divine intervention, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or any other similar events beyond our control, no refund will be paid.
